EMITE offers three different test modes to suit your MIMO measurement needs:
1️⃣ Passive Mode Test: These metrics are essential to characterise the RF front-end efficiency, including antennas, of a prototype and determine how close it can get to its Shannon capacity. This allows avoiding bottlenecks for high-demand spectral efficiencies.
2️⃣ Active MIMO OTA Testing: An active receiver in a commercial or prototype device interacts with a base station emulator to provide standardised and proprietary figures of merit. A complete solution for measuring the performance of your device in real-world conditions.
3️⃣ Time Domain MIMO Tests: In these tests, measurements are made against time to collect a series of sample results that form a data set. This methodology allows for a deeper and more detailed analysis of the test results.
